Instead of trying to “stop violence,” this musical attempts to create a paradigm shift: Peace is what cannot be stopped. A chorus of Peacemakers show us scenes of Samantha Smith, Iqbal Massih, and Zlata Filipovic to inspire and guide us. Using music and the stories of these and other real young people who have made a difference in our world, Young Peacemakers is an honest, upbeat, and real possibility for all of us to live by.

Five (5) Peacemakers, male and female, who are all seeing, all knowing. They never leave the stage. They are the Young Peacemakers and they are trying to convert us all.
Six (6) Players, male and female, who act out the scenes. They are unaware of the Peacemakers’ presence, but somehow are influenced by them. At the end of the play, they are changed into Young Peacemakers themselves.
